| I know, there are those who say that the Lake of Fire is only symbolism. Oh, and of course there are those who say that there is no such thing as Hell. Sorry, but the Bible is specific about Hell. It is a real Lake of Fire, that burns forever and ever. Those who end up there are tormented forever, with no peace, no rest, no breaks, and no water. FOREVER
Luke 16:23-25, "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented."
Revelation 14:11, "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."
Wow! FOREVER! That's a long time. We can't really even comprehend the word FOREVER because our natural lives are so temporary. Our souls; however, are not temporary; and we will spend eternity in one of two places.
