CENTRAL PACIFIC

This region of the country is especially attractive to tourist in search of beatiful beaches or adventurous river rafting trips. The whole coast is made up of spectacular beaches, some isolated allowing you to rest far from the bustle and daily activity of the city and others full of life and recreational activities.

You will find excellent beaches for surfing in the Central Pacific region. Boca Barranca, Tivives and Valor, Escondida, Jacó, Hermosa, Esterillos, Bejuco, Boca Damas and the beaches that surround Puerto Caldera, offer excellent conditions for those that want to run waves.

Caldera is located on the low part of the coast. It is a visiting point for several international cuise lines and port for ships that import and export products to Central America and the world.
