NORTH PACIFIC

The North Pacific Region is full of beatiful, varied textured and colorful sand beaches. Cliffs surround the beaches while the sun baths them, making them seem golden and endless. Mainly the province of Guanacaste forms this regions of the Pacific.

Guanacaste is the land of folklore, music, color, delicious typical dishes called “casados”. This is the perfect place to enjoy the flavor of magnificent lobsters, “ceviche” (raw fish cocktail) or “pescadito” (whole fried fish).

For surf lovers we recommend the beaches: Puerto Grande, Naranjo, Grande, Tamarindo, Langosta, Avellanas, negra and Nosara. Also, you can visit the Costa Rican Network of Natural Reserves.
