Co-Founder of Cabbage Patch Kids Hangout. I can't take credit for opening Cabbage Patch Kids Hangout, as I wasn't at this club from day one. I was busy nurturing my own club CabbagePatch around the same time (1998) Liz founded this club at Yahoo (which at that time was called OneList). We both ran successful clubs, however Liz's career had just started to take off and her job included a lot of travel. She loved Hangout but wanted someone else who would give it a little TLC and make it grow. I volunteered for the position and she decided to let me handle the club. We had 28 members back then and now .. eight years later, we have over one thousand members. I've been collecting Cabbage Patch Kids since day one of the Coleco era. My passion has taken me all across North American both in search of new Kids and also to meet fellow collectors! In my years of collecting, I've assisted the US Postal Service on the Celebrate the Century Millenium edition Cabbage Patch stamp, created two of my own limited edition softi scultured Cabbage Patch editions, assisted Toys R Us & Play Along Toys with the development of their Cabbage Patch doll lines, been interviewed by US Today, Doll Magazine, DOLLS, the Oakville Beaver, Mississauga News, and have been featured on Turner South's Liars & Legends and an upcoming episode of I  on pop culture collectibles. Manager Hi there, Mairia here. I am 39 years old and live in Wyoming with my husband Bill and our daughter Shyan. I also have a 21 year old son, David, who lives about 100 miles from me. Besides CPK I also collect dolphins and lighthouses. Oh and I am a computer junkie! LOL I am a late comer to the CPK world. I was a bit to old for the first rush but my daughters love for the new PA kids made me fall in love. Once I had found the Hangout I knew it would be home. I really enjoy learning new things from our members and managers. Carri 
Manager (AKA TsudTriLili) I was born in 1979, So I got to experience all of the Awsome '80's! I got my first Cabbie is 1983(lucky me!) and she still with me and the most percious kiddo in my patch. At this time I currently have 200+ Colecos and 1980's Foreign Kids living with me and I love them all, and am alway looking for more to adopt. My other hobbies include Collecting many dolls that fancy me, adopting tropical fish, growing plants and vegetables, throwing dinner theme parties, and of course playing here at "The Hangout". I currently live in a basement apartment in the New England state of Massachusetts, with my cat, Chubbs. Here I work as an Prep Cook.  Julie ASST. Manager <AKA scrapbookjulie> Hi! I'm Julie. I've been collecting TRUs since 2004. I started collecting PAs a year later. I never had a cabbie as a kid during the 80s craze, so I think I'm making up for lost time now! I love the hangout and all the friends I've made at the cpk clubs. Besides cabbies, I love spending time with my family. I have a husband, a soon-to-be 5-year-old daughter, and a new kitty, Tigger. I was a teacher until I had my daughter. Then I became a stay-at-home mom. Now I run an after school program at a gifted school by my house. My daughter comes with me. Some of my hobbies are scrapbooking, playing the piano and flute, reading, snowmobiling and jet skiing. I have a zillion favorite tv shows: American Idol, Desperate Housewives, Judge Judy, Young and Restless, Guiding Light, Criminal Minds, Shark, Everybody Loves Raymond, How I Met Your Mother...real quality entertainment!  I love sharing pictures of my TRUs at the club since none of my other friends share my love of cpks! Ginger ASST. Manager (aka Fireangelreborn2) I'll start with the boring HI!! I'm Ginger, I'm 25 years old (yes as old as the MM kids themselves!!) I started collecting when I was about 3 and lost interest for a number of years, then about 3-4 years ago I realized they still made them and wanted one. I got one for christmas that year and it was down hill from there! I currently have about 200 kids, mostly MM (PA, TRU, Coleco and some Mattel) I resently add two 80s softies that I found at a flea market and one modern Softie!! I have been bitten by that softie bug!!! My Other interests include My pets, scrapbook and spending time with my family. I just recived my BS in Childhood education and will be going back to school for my master's in Literacy. I work as a camp counsler at a day camp during the summer also. Paula Asst. I got my first Cabbie Christmas of 84' and had a few as a child.I really got into collecting about 4 years ago.Most of my collection is Colecos.I also have a few foreign kids,Hasbros,Mattels,Tru's,PA's and 2 softies.
