This group was started to have a place to store newspaper articles from the Cambridge Jeffersonian, which is located in Guernsey County, Ohio. We wanted to share these newspaper articles with others free of charge. Since that time our group has grown. Member's have contributed numerous resources and items that would help any genealogist looking for their ancestors in Guernsey County, Ohio. We try to cover all of Guernsey County, from the past to the present. We are not limited to the group name 1878-1906!!!
The group members now help each other with lookups for Guernsey and surrounding counties. We also offer lookups for census records. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Everyone here is friendly and we all believe in the same thing, genealogy should be shared.
