Failure To Launch

Starring Matt McConaughey, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw play a couple who's son is still living at home at 33. They hear about, and hire, Sarah Jessica Parker, whose jobit is to date their son, Matthew (Sexiest Man Alive 2005) McConaughey with the intent of convincing him to move out. Of course, things don't go as smoothly as planned.

Omigosh, I laughed sooooo hard!!!! Watched it three times, then bought the movie.

Spoiler/warning: Terry Bradshaw has a nude scene in this one. Saw more of the man than I really wanted to. But he was really great as the dad in this film.

Ice Age: The Meltdown

Starring animated feature.

Story about a prehistoric mammoth, a not-so-intelligent sloth, and a reluctantly warm-hearted saber-toothed tiger who have become friends after surviving the last movie together. When the realize that their glacier home is about to be flooded by melting ice, they set out to find a safe place to brave the storm. (All the animals are rushing to a huge rock shaped like Noah's ark! ) Along the way, they meet another mammoth who is going thru a bit of a identity crisis, and who lives out her days with some mischeivous prehistoric o'possums.

Throughout the film a squirrel chases an acorn around like he's Coyote chasing the Road Runner. He's a very vigilant little critter.

Great laugh. Easy to watch with children, or anyone who needs a reason to smile and relax.

I bought this one, too!

The Family Stone

Starring Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker......
Other notable members of cast:
Rachel McAdams
Craig T. Nelson
Luke Wilson
Dermot Mulroney
Claire Danes

Touching and funny. Very well done.
Will make you want to have a family get-together with all your loved ones!
Note: It is a tear jerker, as part of the plot deals with the struggle to cope with terminal breast cancer.
I watched every bit of the DVD extras, as well.
Found it very cathartic.
