THE CARRYING OF THE CROSS
Our Father, who art in heaven,hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
1) 'If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself.' (Luke 9:23)
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
2) And take up his cross every day and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

THE CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OF OUR LORD

1) When they reached the placed called The Skull, they crucified him. (Luke 23:33)

3) One of the criminals crucified with him said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' (Luke 23:39, 42; Mark 15:32)

4) 'Indeed, I promise you,' he said, 'today you will be with me in paradise.' (Luke 23:43)

5) Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and the disciple he loved. (John 19:25, 26)

7) And from that moment the disciple made a place for her in his home. (John 19:27)
