Some Kids I Know, LLC is owned by Cindy Ponko and Marilyn Horst. We are sisters. Together, we publish a line of children's picture books which have characters that are based on kids that we know. Some kids we have known all their lives, and some kids we have just met recently. Kids are so much fun to observe. There is a story to tell for each and every one of them. Hi, I've been drawing and painting all my life but I really like drawing in pencil. I love to do portraits. I'm self taught mostly (have taken some classes here and there). I've worked in all kinds of art mediums. I've been asked by a local author to do illustrations for her books. Since, it was an area I wanted to get into, so here I am.
