HOW TO CREATE A GROUP OF YOUR OWN
Provided you have a name and a description in mind it will take about 10 minutes, so lets have a look at what questions you'll be asked and how to get to the MSN home page.
You may want to start by having a look at some of the groups in existence already, pay close attention to the descriptions that grab your interest,remember that description is the typical member's first contact with your group.

Click on the "HOME" tab at the top left hand side of this screen and then under the Find a Group search bar click on browse by category to scroll through some of the thousands of groups in MSN. You might also want to enter the name you want for your group into the search bar just to see if that name has been taken already by someone else.
To create your group:
Click on the “HOME” tab at the top left hand side of this window and you will be taken to a screen that has the search for a MSN group and on the bottom left of the page is the heading:
Create A Group and under that click on : Create one now
Here are the fields you’ll be asked to fill in:
GROUP NAME
If the name you have chosen is already taken by another group you will have to go back and choose another , but unfortunately you won’t know that until the end of the process, so again you may want to search the existing groups first just to be sure the name you have in mind is free.
DESCRIBE YOUR GROUP …
This is the description that will be entered into the MSN directory and into the search engine, if however your group has a private setting it will be unlisted. You have about one paragraph, so put some thought before hand into this. However you can change it at any time in the future.
RATE YOUR GROUP… choose between
General…safe for all ages
Mature…may not be suitable for all audiences
Adult…explicit or graphic content
YOUR MEMBERSHIP POLICY…
Public…anyone can view your site and become a member without permission from a manager
Public Restricted…anyone may view your group but needs approval to join
Private…no one can view this group without being a member, and that’s by invitation only, you can start out with your group set as private while you build it, and then change it later.
GROUP MODERATION…
Unmoderated…messages are automatically posted and sent to the message board {the most common way of handling messages}.
Moderated …you or another manager must accept all messages before they are posted
DIRECTORY LISTING…
Listed..the group will appear in the search engine and directory unless you choose private, as private it will not be listed.
Unlisted…the group whether public, or public restricted, or private will not appear in the group directory, in other words no one will be able to find it.
LANGUAGE..
It will show English, just leave it that way unless you want otherwise.
CATEGORY…
There are several to choose from, automotive,computers and the internet, lifestyles, and many more. Under Religion and Beliefs, is the subtitle Christianity.
YOURSELF…
List your Email address, and whether you want members to be able to view it or not.
Choose your nickname, or user name.
MESSAGES…
This is how you want to receive your messages, whether in your inbox, as a daily digest sent to your inbox, or whether you perfer to view them on the web.
E-MAIL PERFERENCE…
Either text only, or HTML {hypertext markup language}.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Then you’ll be asked to read and agree to the code of conduct, and then....
That’s it ! YOU DID IT ! Click on the “Create My Group” button and in just a few seconds your MSN group will be there. On the left hand navigation bar you will have:
