The American Cocker Spaniel

By Dr. Alvin Grossman.

This is a really good book about American Cocker Spaniels...  with an especially interesting section about the genetics involved in coat colors.  If you've ever wondered about what colors you would get if you mated your Cocker with a certain other color...  this is the book for you.  It is in paperback, and available fairly inexpensively from Barnes and Noble.

Bad Dog! Tales of Trouble Only a Best Friend Can Get Away With

By Doug Brown. Some of the best stories taken from the Bad Dog wesite have been placed in a book. All are told from the point of view of the dog and include damage totals. Most have pictures of the offenders. Some stories are hysterically funny and some are simply amazing. All are entertaining. My Madison is the only dog to have the distinction of being in the book twice. Recommended by Traci , 8/22/2000.
