Question Five   If you could de-myth one common misconception about your path, what would it be?      Ginny: I would de-myth the insane notion that we ever separated from God and need to "work" our way back Home.  We are still there and never left. Koshari: I'd say... one misconception would be that my spirituality isn't applicable to my day to day life. Baba108:  The myth that we exist as separate entities that God and I are not one and the same that God and You are not one and the same   Jai Bhagavan   Strider:  Like Ginny...that we are separate from 'god' and need to work our way back.   Nice wording Ginny.   Duffyzolo:  it is because of the teachings that there is something other than God creates the notion that there is a seperation.  i totally agree ginny that i can actually fail.   Yelloweye: Hmmm.... Can I de-myth two? One would be that "acknowledging and honoring my own dark side (somehow) makes me an evil person... I choose not to walk with my dark side, but I never-the-less have one and it must be understood in order to keep myself balanced.
