The Pain of a One-Sided Love Affair   by Knowman       When we've played so hard it's time to stop, that kicks my love in gear, that's just when I want to start, I just love to hold you near.   And when your wonderful, so much to me, I even want you more, it makes me love you twice as much, but then your out the door.   I'll count the hours passing by, till the time we hold once more, I pray to God with all my heart, but again your out the door.   God how can it be, I want her so, with my heart held in my hand, all my emotions are set a-glow, yet I can not understand.   I love and want her much, as I sit here on my floor, I reach out to touch her face, and again' she's out the door.   I want her  here by my side, she feels so good to me, but when she's gone I cry for her, O God, how can it be?   Reach out to her and let her know, I'd love her bright and clear, I'd give her all I have, to hold her very near.   I want her much, her heart as well, because I really care, but it's hard to keep the love, of a one-sided love affair.!     Copyright ©2006, Donald Thornton.  All rights reserved.
