| Well, it all begins on your desktop. Where is your desktop? The desktop is the first thing that you see after your computer has booted up. It has a bunch of icons on it and possibly a background image. This image is known as "Wallpaper". You can see I've used my own image on my desktop. To change this image, right-click on a blank spot and choose Properties. On the Display Properties popup window, click on the General tab. You'll see a list of available wallpapers to choose from. On the bottom-right, you can choose to center, tile, or stretch the picture. You may notice that Windows doesn't come with very good looking wallpaper. (No offense Microsoft) So you may want to place your own picture there. To do this, click the "Browse" button and find the file on your computer. The picture has to be in HTML or bitmap format to be used as wallpaper.
Find the one you want and select it. Click "open" then "Apply" and you're all set! P.S. While you're surfing, if you see a picture you'd like to have as your desktop wallpaper, simply right-click on it and choose "Set as wallpaper". This will save the image to your computer as your current wallpaper. Enjoy!! |
