| Marc | Hi my name is Marc and I live just north of Portsmouth in Hampshire (UK!). I am 25 years old and live on my own muddling on with life (as you do!). I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 1997 and have had a hemi-colonectomy. I am not working as I also have problems with my back due to the Crohn's. | Wayne | I'm a SWM (in the states), 48, crohn's for 20+ years, an ostomy for 3 1/2 years & just divorced (a major factor was my wife's inability to deal with the colostomy). We were married for 24 1/2 years. In fact it's been over 3 years since I've had even a hug from an adult woman (never thought something that seemed so small would be so important). It's been almost 30 years since I've been on or asked a woman for a date. I don't know how or when to even bring up the subject of my crohn's & certainly NOT my ostomy. I desperately need help, suggestions or ideas from someone who has been thru this kind of situation. PLEASE, NO "HELP" IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN THRU THIS YOURSELF (no offense). Considering it from a distance and actually
being there are 2 incredibly different perspectives. I've
had "suggestions" from those who have NOT been here, but it's just
not the same. Considering the situation with my wife (someone I
thought I truly knew), I think you can see why my fears of rejection
