1.) Close all instances of Internet Explorer. 2.) Go to My Computer / Downloaded Program files. 3.) Find all entries named MSN Chat Control, select them one by one, click on them using the right mouse button, select remove and answer “yes” to the confirmation pop-up. 4.) Close MyComputer. 5.) Open Internet Explorer. 6.) Select Tools/Internet Options/General/Delete Cookies. Confirm that     “Yes” you want to delete all cookies. 7.) Close the Internet Explorer Options menu. 8.) Close this instance of Internet Explorer. 9.) Open a new instance of Internet Explorer and navigate to your preferred group chat room to trigger a new download of the Chat control.
