Picot Angel

Materials - UK
DK yarn (about 15g, scrap sparkly thread/yarn),  25mm (1in) plastic curtain ring, 4.00mm hook.

Materials - US
Ww yarn (about 15g, scrap sparkly thread/yarn),  25mm (1 in) plastic curtain ring, G hook.

UK Instructions

Notes
Picot:  2 ch, ss to 1st ch.
dcsp:  Double crochet space - this is the space formed by the joining dc on Rnd 3.  Treat it as you would a chsp.
Front Loops:  these are the loops closest to you when working into a st, whether the front or the back of the stitch is facing you.
If you use a different sized ring you may need to adjust the amount of stitches worked into it.  Just remember to do the hanging loop half way around.

Head
Join yarn to ring with ss, 10 dc into  ring, ch 10, ss to 1st ch (forms hanging loop), 10 dc into ring, ss to 1st dc, turn.

Body
Rnd 1:  Ch 3 (counts as 1st tr), working in front loops only, 2 tr in next 2 dc, turn, working into unused loops of dc already worked, 2 tr in next dc, 3 tr in next dc, miss ss, working in front loops only, 3 tr in next dc, 2 tr in next dc, turn, working into unused loops of dc already worked, 2 tr in next dc, 3 tr in next dc, ss to 3rd ch of 3 ch, turn. (20 sts)
Rnd 2:  Ch 3, (counts as 1st tr), 2 tr in same place as 3 ch, *(tr, ch, tr) in next tr, 2 tr in next tr,** rep from*to ** 3 more times, (tr, ch, tr) in next tr, 3 tr in next tr, rep from*to ** 4 more times, (tr, ch, tr) in next tr, ss to 3rd ch of 3 ch, turn.  (52 sts)
