Rnd 2: (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) 4 times. (8 sts)
Rnd 3: Dc in each dc.
Rnd 4: (dc2tog, dc in next dc) 4 times. (8 sts)
Rnds 5-9: dc in each dc.
Fasten off. Eyes
Rnd 1: In white, ch 2, 6 dc in 1st ch, ss to 2nd ch, mark as right side, turn. (6 sts)
Using black, add a “glint” to the eye as in the picture. Ear Inners
Rnd 1: In pink, ch 2, 6 dc in 1st ch, mark as right side, turn. (6 sts). Body
Rnd 1: In black, ch 2, 6 dc in 1st ch, ss to 2nd ch, change to grey, turn. (6 sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, (3 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) 3 times, ss to 1st ch, mark as right side, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc) twice, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ss to 1st ch, turn. (15 sts)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc) twice, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc, ss to 1st ch, turn. (18 sts)

Rnd 6 (Join eyes): Ch 1, dc in next 8 dc, *place right side of eye against right side of body lining up 1 dc either side of ss on eye with next 2 dc on body and, working through both pieces, dc in next 2 dc,** dc in next 4 dc on body only, rep from * to ** for next eye, dc in next 8 dc on body only, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 7 (Join eyes): Ch 1, dc in next 7 dc, *line up 1st unused dc of eye with next dc on body and, working through both pieces, dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc in body behind eye, line up last unused dc of eye with next dc on body and, working through both pieces, dc in next dc,** dc in next 2 dc on body only, rep from * to ** for next eye, dc in next 7 dc on body only, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 8 (Join eyes): Ch 1, dc in next 8 dc, *line up remaining 2 dc on eye with next 2 dc on body and, working through both pieces, dc in next 2 dc,** dc in next 4 dc on body only, rep from * to ** for next eye, dc in next 8 dc on body only, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 9 (make ears): Ch 1, dc in next 9 dc, make ear (ch 2, 6 dc in 2nd ch from hook), dc in next 6 dc, make ear (ch 2, 6 dc in 2nd ch from hook), dc in next 9 dc, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 10 (make ears): Ch 1, dc in next 9 dc, *place right side of ear inner against ear, lining up dc and, working through both pieces, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in each of next 2 dc, dc in next 2 dc,** dc in next 6 dc on body only, rep from * to ** for next ear, dc in next 9 dc on body only, ss to 1st ch, change to cream, turn.
Rnd 11: Ch 1, lpst in next 9 dc, miss 8 dc of ear, lpst in next 6dc, miss 8 dc of ear, lpst in next 9 dc, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 12: Ch 1, dc in each lpst, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 13: Ch 1, lpst in each dc, ss to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 14: Ch 1, dc in next lpst, *fold leg in half, lining up 1st 4 dc with next 4 dc, place against right side of body and, working through all layers, dc in next 4 sts,** dc in next 14 lpst, rep from * to ** for next leg, dc in next lpst, ss to 1st ch, turn.

Rnd 11: Ch 1, lpst in next 9 sc, skip 8 sc of ear, lpst in next 6dc, skip 8 sc of ear, lpst in next 9 sc, slst to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 12: Ch 1, sc in each lpst, slst to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 13: Ch 1, lpst in each sc, slst to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 14: Ch 1, sc in next lpst, *fold leg in half, lining up 1st 4 sc with next 4 sc, place against right side of body and, working through all layers, sc in next 4 sts,** sc in next 14 lpst, rep from * to ** for next leg, sc in next lpst, slst to 1st ch, turn.
Rnd 15: As rnd 13. Repeat rnds 12 and 13 until the body is the required length then join the back legs as in rnd 14. Repeat rnd 13, fasten off and sew in ends. |
