  PINK SPARKLIES ©DDesinz2005

This tutorial is ©DDesinz2005 any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Choose a tube and font of your choice.

No filters needed.  You will need Animation Shop.

I have used Anthony Guerra whom I have unlimited usage permission.  If you would like to use his work then please contact GILD and purchase a licencse.

Choose 2 colours to complement your tube  I have used #ffdedb for my foreground/stroke and #ffb5ab for my background/fill.

*Tip- I always write down the colours I choose so I don't make a mistake later.

Open a new image 500x500 and transparent.

1.  Select a shape using your preset shape tools and ensure the stroke width is set to 5.  Draw your shape to fit your just inside the tranparent image.

Layers, merge, merge visible.

Save.

2.  Using your magic wand select the light colour and then duplicate the layer twice.  You should now have 3 layers.

X out the 2 duplicate layers and make sure your original layer is highlighted.

4.  Add noise on the bottom layer as below

For the 2nd layer noise setting is 35 and for the 3rd layer 40.

Save.

5.  Add a drop shadow to each layer as shown below.

6.  Add your tube now as a new layer.  Add all Copyright info and then duplicate this layer twice.  Add the same drop shadow.

Save.

7.  X out all layers except the 1st shape layer and the 1st tube layer.  Merge, merge visible.  Do this to the each layers.  You should now have only 3 layers.  Save.

8.  New raster layer.  I used my preset shape tool, rectangle, to place a rectangle so it looked like it was in her hands.  Width set to 5.

9. Usin your  magic wand select the edge colour.  Duplicate this layer twice.  X out the top 2 layers.  With the bottom layer of this selection highlighted use the same setting for Noise as at Step 4.  Apply the same drop shadow settings as at Step 5.

Save.

10.  Merge layers as at Step 7.

Save.

11.   New raster layer, flood fill white.  Duplicate twice.  Merge each layer with a white layer.

Save.

12.  Now to add your text.  Your foreground and background colour should now both be the lighter of the 2 colours you chose.  In this instance mine is #ffdedb.  Text size 24, depending upon the font you choose.  Size to fit inside your rectangle that you drew in Step 8.  Make sure it is inside of the rectangle edge.  Once you are happy with it add the drop shadow as above.  Duplicate this layer twice and repeat Step 7.

Save.

13. Copy and paste the bottom layer into Animation Shop as a new image.  Copy and paste the next layer, into Animation Shop, after the current frame.  Do the same with the last layer.

14.  Select Animation, resize, 80%.  The reason I do this is to ensure that it will save into Photobucket, my image hosting site.

Save as *******. I called mine Pinksparklies.

Optimisation was left as is and I left Cusomised Settings unchecked.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
