NOTICE: Those interested in joining must mention "Deism" when they apply in the window that will be sent to the managers; when you hit the link to join the necessary window will automatically open. The reason for this is to prevent spammers from simply joining by hitting a button. If someone is interested in discussing Deism, or merely reading the material in this group, then it is not too much to ask for on the part of the managers. Warning: Any attempts to proselytize in this group will be subject to one warning to cease & desist, failure to take the warning seriously will be followed by explusion with all posted material, links, pictures, or documents deleted. It is far easier for the management to erase someone than it is for someone to post useless material, so keep this in mind. "We cannot serve God in the manner we serve those who cannot do without such service; and, therefore, the only idea we can have of serving God is that of contributing to the happiness of the living creation that God has made." -- Thomas Paine Every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle. -- Thomas Jefferson If someone wishes to email the managers, go to your member tools to the right and hit the appropriate link. A new board is being introduced on debunking the Bible and Christian doctrine. The Board is called: Biblical Errancy. The issue at hand will be debunking the idea of Biblical Inerrancy. Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson both realized the danger of allowing the Bible to go unchallenged in society and politics and both wrote material exposing the falsehood of many Christian ideas about the Bible by looking at the literal contradictions of the text material, as well as looking at the contradictions between the Biblical account of history compared to the historical record rooted in archeaology and sound historical research. If a member or visitor in this group is not interested in such a subject, please do not visit the board in question. For those interested in the board, please read the first message in the board to make sure the few rules in it are followed. ------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTICE!
