| | Reader's Choice Award Winning Entry!! | Joe Bourland's rendition of an era long past captured the hearts of those casting their votes for the Crystal Reader's Choice Award in this year's Domestic BMAA competition. With an 1800's period costumes of lace, ribbon and an eye for detail, Joe, from Midland Texas, created a charming trio entitled "Mother's Little Helper." This set was complete with a parasol and an adorable lace buggy, very suitable for a quaint stroll through the park. Joe Bourland confessed that she is "a west Texan through and through," and never imagined herself designing dolls. "Now it's an every day love affair." Joe's entries won her a crystal award in the Historical category and a second place ribbon in the Miscellaneous category of this year's competition as well. Congratulations Joe! |
