Sage: is a record keeper and learned student, adviser to the mysteries of things around them using both the Adept skill they learned and lessons on how to filter this wisdom and energy to become more correct in their skills taught by this level some sages can get as high if not higher then some mages.....education counts

Mage: is a very direct magic user instead of keeping a full record they tend to mix and match magic, sometimes building it in the hopes to be a magiester(master of magic) old term for some magic users, related term Wizard "from the word Zard" or Zar based on the ideal of terming Romanian and the Wi-zaerd the oldest germanic influences (gothic) some want to believe Merlyn is actually a rank for wizards a high one, like a diwyn, or celwyn but that is Roleplayers and story telling of the outsider, our Wize secrets are our own, Mage, is magic/get and it is a term that most mages only care to practice never own, A mage in truth is a young wizard to be, without a teacher, or one with a teacher, that has yet not taught him wizardryl, mages can be women, but much like the term wizard it is rare to have that title or label, as a mage one learns the workings of the Gates, sygils and keys to the energies, not the direct wisdom of tuning this happens by talisman or contract or bond, as given by the Magic Users head "teacher, adviser,Wizard, or other in the levels of magic's offering,
