This year saw several changes to this event on it's fifth running. Since we are not running on the worldwide date of the Yours Truly events I decided to change the name. We also had a record number of runners and some great draw prizes thanks to Sheldon Low. What didn't change was the informal fun nature of the event. It's all very simple; you show up between 8-9, grab a map, partner up with someone and head out on the 25K loop. When you're done you record your time on the clipboard and you're done. Once again this year many runners opted for the temporary disorientation category as reflected in their bonus distance. The Macolm Knapp Research Forest is operated by the University of B.C. and is tucked beside the Golden Ears Range. This narrow strip of land is a jumble of hills and small lakes interlaced with a network of forest access roads. Off-limits to any other form of transport it's an off-road runner's paradise.
