When you click on the Chat Room link provided here on this site, it will take you to a page where you sign in temporarily. After you enter the chat room you will see several things at the bottom of the chat box.
1. Beside the area where you do your typing at the bottom of the box is a bunch of colored squares. In these squares you can click on one and it will temporarily change the color of your next message.
2. Beside the colored squares are letters
- Letter B will make your next message in bold
- Letter R will make the background behind your next message show as black and the lettering white.
- Letter U will underline your next message
- Letter N will show your next message as normal from what I can tell.
3 Beneath the colored boxes is an "Action" box with your choice of what will be automatically written in chat when you select which one you want to use.
4. Next to that box is the "Sound" box. Select the sound you want to use in the chat room and it happens. There might be a slight delay but it will do it.
5. Next to that box is the "Command" box. Open it with the arrow and select "Nickserv Panel and you can register your the nickname you use permanently so no one else can use that nick name.
6. By clicking on the "Ignore Panel" you can put someone who is bothering you on ignore.
7. You may select "Session Information" to choose your own settings for when you're in chat.
8. In that same box of Commands you can Select an avatar by clicking on Avatar Panel.
9. In that same box of Commands you can Select the image panel and click on your choice of an image to include in your next message.
10. When you enter this chat room, you must register your name and cannot re-enter the room using other names. If that happens you will be kicked from the room. If you do it again, you will be banned.
11. If you don't use your nickname within a two week period of time in the chat room, you will have to re-register it again if someone else hasn't taken it.
12. While in chat you have options to use during your chat session by clicking on "Session" in the Command box. You may choose to play sounds, show timestamp, show private message windows, and float new message windows. In that same "Session" box, you may choose to filter language and block private messages plus more.
THE SAME RULES THAT APPLY TO OUR MSN CHAT ROOM APPLY TO THIS CHAT ROOM. DISREGARD THESE RULES AND YOU WILL BE BANNED.
IF YOU MISBEHAVE YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT.
