Miss Charming's Book of Crazy Cocktails. Why mix the same old vodka tonic when you can try a Stubborn Moscow Mule? Have some vodka with ginger beer and a dash of lime juice - just the thing for an extra kick. Tired of bourbon and soda? Then spice up your Jack Daniel’s with a half jig of Yukon Jack, a little root beer schnapps, and some cola, and slam down a Jackhammer! When you’ve had enough of the trendy Cosmopolitan, shake things up a bit with an Agent Orange - this concoction of mandarin-flavored vodka, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, and orange juice is sure to put you on guard. With more than 200 recipes for out-of-the-ordinary and out-of-this-world beverages, Miss Charming’s Book of Crazy Cocktails is a one-way ticket to your own private Margaritaville.

Hangover Square

By Patrick Hamilton.
A fictional adventure in a rather sinister corner of London the year prior to WWII.  The characters are for the most part, blighted young wasters, with just enough money, and just enough education to be dangerous to themselves and to society.  Reminds one of the Maum book "Of Human Bondage", excellent book, ruined by that excellent actor Bill Murry in his only serious role.

New Classic Cocktails

By Gary Regan, Mardee Regan. Even though the quantity of recipes in this book is limited, the Quality can't be beat. If you learn to make just a couple of the cocktails presented in this book, I guarantee you that you will make a splash with all of your friends. The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks

By David A. Embury. One of the first, and still one of the best, books that truely examines the art of the cocktail. (full review) Recommended by MSN NicknameRobertHess, 11/8/1999.
