Officer Cadet

Ab'viation    Air Cdre  Gp Capt    Wg Cdr   Sqn Ldr     Flt Lt   Fg Off   Plt Off

   O Cdt

New pilots start at the rank of Officer Cadet (O Cdt) until they have successfuly completed 3 basic courses in piloting.

1) TAKE OFF AND LANDING

2) DOGFIGHTING

3) THE ABILITY TO BE A TEAM PLAYER

You will notice that the ranks dont go as high as RAF ranks do, we keep the highest rank as that of  Air Commodore (Air Cdre) so that the highest rank can carry on flying, since you didnt really see many "Marshalls Of The Royal Air Force" flying combat missions.

Acts of promotion are not set at any specific time, they go on your skill and abilities, you have to EARN promotion, to move up the ranks.

Will be a joy to fly with you all.

Regards

Gp Capt Foster
