The FACES Conference started in 2002, when 20 people
touched by encephalitis got together for the first meeting,
in Ottawa Canada (pictured below).

Since that time, FACES (Friends And Caregivers, Encephalitis Survivors) has doubled in size, but still maintains the warm  and friendly style of meeting, greeting and sharing. 
The FACES Conference is the place where survivors,
caregivers and loved ones can relax and exchange
information and support with others who understand. 
It's a very remarkable experience!
