WELCOME MESSAGE (10 Jan. 2008)
(To change print size, click on "View" and "Text Size.")

Hi everyone. This is Richard, your instructor. Welcome to bulletin-board class!

You can always access our bulletin-board (BB) class through our Web site's "BB" page, or you can bookmark this page--right now--by clicking on "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" at the top of this screen, and then following instructions. The email address for this BB is below.  You will use this bulletin board every week for BB class.

Good luck, and if you need help, email me (www.richard.jewell.net/contact.htm), call (612-870-7024), or ask at school (office: B-136). And remember to start out plenty early if you're not used to bulletin boards. They're simple to use once you learn how.

Go to "Intro+Signup" to learn how to get started by signing up.  Please plan on printing these directions out if you are not used to having two Web windows open at the same time.

Once you've signed up, go on to read
"How To Do the BB,"
the "Questions-Set A" and "Set B," and
"Good BB Talking."

And if you have questions, check "FAQs" first.  If you can't find an answer there, then definitely email or call me.  Good luck with the BB's!

Take care,
Richard

Thanks, everyone.   Re your comments here on the Wk. 16 BB, generally the class was organized so that the average college reader (who reads about 20 pp./hr. of paperbac...

I chose this course because I thought the reading material looked the most appealing. I have grown up on stories like C.S. Lewis’ and Tolkien’s. I also wanted to learn more about Greek Mythology, as...

AngeleenIt is a little sad to have the class end. I have gotten quite used to doing all this work; the free time may be a little scary. I agree with you about the bulletin boards. Though at times ...
