TRADITION OF PROTECTION FROM FAIRIES
According to traditions, there are a number of ways to protect yourself from unfriendly fairies. All fairies have a dislike of cold iron. Jumping over running water will stop their pursuit. Using bread and salt. bells, iron horseshoes, whistling, snapping the fingers, or turning the clothes will also deter them. Herbs they do not like are St. Johnswort, red verbena, daisies, rowan or mountain ash. But the strongest plant against them is the four-leaf clover, which protects against fairy glamour.
In actual fact the best defense is to always show respect for our little friends. If any of the traditional defenses work it is probably because the fairies fall over themselves laughing.
If you need to defend yourself against an evil force it is probably not a fairy. There are four types of spiritual entities that can bring harm:
Cloud-beings: A typical cloud-being will inhabit a location that has been polluted by evil thoughts and actions. They are drawn to human evils. These are demons that will be perceived as black amorphous beings with an awful and threatening aura. Pure spiritual force can lift them from an area, but to get rid of them requires hauling them off into the depths of deepest darkness and sealing the way behind them. A particularly difficult variant is a contaminent in spiritual light which infects people seeking the golden light of enlightenment from the godhead as with Taikuando practitioners. It can only be seen when they are in deep meditation or sleep and they leak light. The light will be seen to be impure and must be cleansed by direct transformation.
Goo-beings: These are sicknesses of mankind which infect spiritually weak bodily parts and people. Healers can draw them into themselves but risk being infected and an infected person cannot be cured until the cleansing is absolutely complete. The wise healer will pull them out and send them into the deepest darkness sealing the path behind them.
Crystal-beings: These are demons similar to fairy kind but whose aura is sharp, crystalline and hurtful. They are responsible for certain severe diseases (physical and mental) and possessions. An ordinary healer would be hurt dealing with them. When they are pulled out they become particularly hard to control and try to pull into the healer. They are incredibly strong and have great endurance. It is necessary to have help, such as a dragon, to drag them down into deepest darkness.
Monsters: This is a catchall for formed demons. They are generally easier to handle because they cannot withstand spiritual light and purity. Anyone who is close to our Father in Heaven is safe from them. Those who are in league with such beings cannot stand the true light. There is no point in trying to heal such humans. Darkness to Darkness; Light to Light.
