| Step 1. To be able to do the animated signatures you will need animated bars or glitter. Click on the links to the right and choose a bar/glitter. Right click on the bar/glitter you choose and save to your hard drive. Remember where you saved the bar/glitter, you will be using it in step 3. Step 2. Go to http://linuxenvy.com/bprentice/Banners/Banners.html . Enter the name you wish to create in the Banner Text field. Choose the font you want. (a link to a list of font examples are at the bottom of the page). Font size is next and the average size I use is 40 - 50 depending on the size of the name and font. Leave border size at 10 (or play around to your liking). Text color should always be white. Jump down to Background color and it should always be set to Transparent. User type should be checked for regular, if you do not do this you will be unable to see your finished product. If this occurs just click your back arrow and check regular than click submit. You will now see your signature, right click it and save to your hard drive. Step 3. Go to http://magick.net4tv.com/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi . Click Browse to find the signature you just created. Once you find it click on View. This will take you to the next page in the process where you will see your signature. Choose the Composite tab on the upper right corner of the page. Click Browse to find the bar you saved in Step 1. Change Gravity to North. Change Compose to In and check the Miscellaneous opitons box. Then click the Composite button just below Gravity. Click on the Output Tab at the upper left corner. Make sure the Format is always set to gif, storage type to multi-frame file and enter "0" in the Box named Loop. Once this is completed then click on the Output button just underneath Storage Type. You will now see your completed Signature. Click on it once and it will take you to the save page where you will need to right click and save to your hard drive. You have just made your first animated signature with this process. You may not remove this tutorial to another community or anywhere else on the web without my express permission. You may however print it out for ease in use. Thank you for using it and I hope you have lots of fun making signatures.
