Family of seven
To watch them being born,
To opening their eyes,
The newborn kittens
were certainly a surprise,
To see them walk for the very first time,
Stumbling across the room,
To reach for a treat
Thats captured their eyes,
To watch them play
and jump up high,
To climb up your legs,
You see their playful eyes.
Scratches on your skin,
From all the playful fights,
With the fishing rod
and the furry mice.
How we laugh and chuckle
when they tumble over.
Watching their features change,
Watching them grow,
Seeing them develop
Characters of their own.
Tom - A cat who's stride looks mean,
Gerry - A scardy cat but keeps us keen,
Sue - Who's timid but loves her babies,
Sooty - A sleepy fellow who dozes all day,
Dixie - Who's a playful and cheeky little minx,
Trixie - A terror in her own little mind,
Last but not least
Little Molly,
A kitten that was blessed,
When we thought her life was lost.
For this we thank the lord
For we are blessed.
So there you have it,
Our family of seven,
Sounds like madness,
But it's truly heaven.
