Recently FERRET received a critique from W.W.W. Awards. Ferret is a site about, well who would have thought it, Ferrets or Fuzzies as they are commonly referred to by all the "ferretty" people I know. The standard and quantity of information on this site is absolutely outstanding. The topics covered are as diverse as play ideas for your ferret to the bewildering range of illnesses they can suffer from. The site is easy to navigate with a high standard of page design throughout. The Managers and members are obviously crazy about this furry little mammal and the pages are decorated with their personal pictures of the fuzzies at rest, at play and just plain posing! One of the outstanding features on the site are the regular photo competitions that all ferret owners are welcome to enter. The message boards move quickly here and the whole group seems to like being involved with the happy times and the sad times of pet ownership, even if you are only considering a ferret as a pet this group is an ideal place to start, not only for the technical information (how many different colour combinations are there again ) but also for the personal experiences of the members with rearing ferrets. If you are considering getting a ferret then I would pay a visit to this site, and set aside, at least, a week to really digest all the mountains of information available so that you know exactly what you are taking on. Ferrets are lovable little creatures but they are not the easiest of pets to rear but if you are determined this site is one of the best places to go for the hard facts and the support of the members is second to none. Overall, ferret is just like one of the fuzzies itself - full of fun, plenty of time to play but with a caring side that no-one would think was there. Ferret proudly displays the awards received from this site.
