Out of all the many aspects of fishkeeping it is tropical fish that have the largest following. The pages of this section are aimed at people who already have a good basic knowledge of everything mentioned in the beginers guide. It is not advisable for the new comer to the hobby who is in the process of setting up their first aquarium to attempt to keep some of the more demanding species until they have some experience but it may give an idea of something to aim for.
