Episode 10 (part 2)
Shan Cai is brought to a function room in a classy hotel. Feng and Ah Si are there. Shortly after her, an angry girl (acted by He Huan Ru) enters the room unwillingly (pushed by a bodyguard). Feng reveals that this girl, He Yuan Zi (Xiao Zi) is Ah Si’s future fiancée. Next, Xiao Zi’s parents enter. Xiao Zi tells them she does not want to get married. Neither does Ah Si. Xiao Zi’s parents apologize for Xiao Zi’s insolence. Xiao Zi’s parents and Feng tells them that it would be good for them to develop their relationship over the next two years and prepare to get married when they graduate. Meanwhile, Shan Cai stands there uncomfortably. Suddenly, Ah Si struggles free from the bodyguards and runs to the two girls. He grabs Xiao Zi and runs out of the room, leaving Shan Cai alone.
After running for a while, Ah Si turns around to Xiao Zi and is shocked to see her. Apparently, he had intended to grab Shan Cai but in the rush and commotion, had grabbed the wrong girl. He decides to turn back and leaves Xiao Zi. She jumps on his back and bites his ear. Ah Si shakes her off and she falls. An angry Ah Si storms off.
Back at the cake shop, Shan Cai is furious with Ah Si. She thought that Ah Si and Xiao Zi had known each other all the time since Ah Si grabbed Xiao Zi. She thinks that the two of them are staging an act. However, Xiao You feels that Shan Cai is really feeling angry and upset at the same time. When Ah Si calls, Shan Cai refuses to answer the phone.
The next day in school, Shan Cai confronts Ah Si. She congratulates Ah Si since he is getting married soon but she does so angrily. Ah Si tries to explain that he had grabbed the wrong girl the day before. However, Shan Cai does not see how that is possible since she and Xiao Zi had such difference hair and clothing. The two of them starts arguing loudly. She scolds him for treating him as a pre-marriage fling and tells him she will not be manipulated in such a way. When Ah Si tries again to explain things, Shan Cai kicks him and storms off.
Mei Zuo and Xi Men are shocked. Ah Si tells them who the girl is. They are impressed that Feng actually stooped to such a level. However, Ah Si says he will never marry her and calls her a wild monkey.
Outside the school, Shan Cai still cannot believe that Ah Si had grabbed the wrong girl. She runs into Xiao Zi who had come to look at the school which Ah Si studies in. When she calls Ah Si an ‘abnormal birth’, Shan Cai is surprised. Xiao Zi explains that the night before, Ah Si had left her alone with no money and no shoes. She complains that she had to spend more than an hour walking home and swears that she will give him a big scolding when she sees him. Shan Cai is shocked as she thought they were a dating couple. However, Xiao Zi tells her that that was the first time they are meeting. When Shan Cai asks why they left together then, Xiao Zi thinks that its probably because Ah Si had fallen in love with her at first sight.
Ah Si appears with Mei Zuo and Xi Men and yells at Xiao Zi, calling her a monkey. Xiao Zi scolds him for leaving her alone the night before but Ah Si does not appear remorseful. He tells her that the marriage is definitely off. However, Xiao Zi insists that she has her eyes set on him. Thus, since they are going to get married eventually, they might as well start dating now. Ah Si is worked up. To prevent him from punching Xiao Zi, Mei Zuo and Xi Men holds him back and asks Shan Cai to take Xiao Zi away.
Shan Cai takes her away. Xiao Zi then insists on taking Shan Cai shopping.
While shopping, Xiao Zi tells Shan Cai that she wants to attract Ah Si’s attention. Thus, she needs Shan Cai to advise her on how she should dress. When she asks Shan Cai what kind of dressing Ah Si likes, Shan Cai tells her that Ah Si only loves himself and would not notice what girls wear. Xiao Zi thinks that that is very interesting and is determined to win his heart. She had thought that her parents would introduce a pathetic rich boy to her. However, she feels that Ah Si is different from what she expected. Shan Cai tells her she does not care what Xiao Zi wants to do. Xiao Zi apologizes for pouring her woes to Shan Cai, but tells her that it is because she is an only child and thus does not have many friends. Shan Cai reveals that she does not have many friends either. Xiao Zi is happy and asks Shan Cai to help her. From then on, she will tell her her problems with Ah Si and Shan Cai could help her. Shan Cai feels uneasy and lets Xiao Zi know that Ah Si told her before that he likes her (Shan Cai). But she also tells Xiao Zi that she does not like Ah Si. Xiao Zi thinks that Shan Cai could say good things about her in front of Ah Si so that he will have a better impression of her.
After shopping, Xiao Zi tells Shan Cai that at home, she has to learn many skills since she is wealthy. School is very boring but she feels happier now that she has fallen in love with someone. She thinks that if she is able to win Ah Si’s heart, she will definitely feel a huge sense of accomplishment. She asks if Shan Cai likes anyone. Shan Cai reveals that she used to like someone (Lei). When she is with him, she would feel silly and not know what to say. However, Xiao Zi feels that when you are with the person you love, you should feel comfortable and relax. She hopes that Shan Cai would find a better person to love. She gives Shan Cai a set of clothes (which she saw Shan Cai staring at while they were shopping) as a thank-you gift for shopping with her. She tells Shan Cai that she is sincere about being friends with her. Xiao Zi leaves.
Shan Cai meets Ah Si on her way home. Ah Si asks to talk to her for a while. He explains to her the whole situation that night and promises that he will not ever see her again. He wants to decide on his own path in life and will not let his mother get in the way. Shan Cai does not appear happy. She reveals to Ah Si that she had spent the whole day with Xiao Zi. Initially, she had thought that Xiao Zi was just a spoilt brat. However, after spending the day with her, she found Xiao Zi to be a very nice and considerate person. Also, Xiao Zi is tall, pretty and slim. Ah Si thinks that Shan Cai accepted Xiao Zi’s gift as a bribe to say good things about her in front him. However, Shan Cai insists that it is not about the gift. After all, he and Xiao Zi are compatible in all areas, including status and wealth, and most importantly, Feng likes Xiao Zi. Shan Cai tells Ah Si to date Xiao Zi and not disappoint Xiao Zi. Angry, disappointed and hurt, Ah Si slaps her and leaves.
Shan Cai watches Ah Si leave and feels sad. She feels sorry for always forcing Ah Si to slap her and making the situation messier than it already is.
Meanwhile back at the mansion, Xi Men decides that they must do something about the whole situation. Xi Men and Mei Zuo feel that they must try to attract Xiao Zi’s attention onto themselves so as to help Ah Si. However, Lei does not think that they should do that, as this is the Dao Ming family affair. If they were to get involved in it, things will get overly complicated. Mei Zuo’s idea is to get things as complicated as possible to throw everyone off. At this moment, Ah Si returns, all drenched from the rain. He does not tell them anything when they probe.
In his own room, he regrets hitting Shan Cai. Perhaps things have really reached the limit.

The next day, Mei Zuo and Xi Men take Xiao Zi out. She makes them carry all her shopping; She also embarrasses them by bringing them to buy lingerie and sanitary napkins with her. They are about to watch a movie and Xiao Zi decides on one. However, after Xi Men buys the tickets, Xiao Zi decides that they should watch another movie. Xi Men then goes to buy the tickets for another movie. She also makes Mei Zuo buy an ice cream. Mei Zuo bought chocolate ice cream and she claims that she only eats strawberry ice cream. He has no choice but to give it away. Xiao Zi is impressed that they really know how to treat a girl well. She asks if its very boring going out with her. In a bid to please her, Mei Zuo and Xi Men say its not. Xiao Zi then tells them she does not want to watch a movie anymore but wants to see Shan Cai instead. The two guys have no choice but to go along with her.
At the cake shop, Xiao Zi reveals that she knows the two guys are trying to make her stop chasing Ah Si. She will still choose Ah Si over them as she finds them too much of a sweet-talker and thus uninteresting. The two guys are disgusted that she had played with their feelings intentionally. Xiao Zi leaves the cake shop. Shan Cai asks them why they did it. However, Xi Men felt that there wasn’t a need to explain, as she should know the reason behind what they did. They leave all the things that they bought to Xiao You and leave the cake shop.
At the mansion, Feng meets up with Lei. She acts as if it is just an innocent get-together with Lei and invites him for drink. She tells Lei that she met up with Jing at Paris just before returning to Taiwan. Jing had told Feng that she might not go back to Taiwan forever. Knowing that Jing is a very decisive girl, she may really not return at all. Lei does not know what Feng is getting at. Feng tells Lei that she is aware of Shan Cai’s feelings for Lei. Lei denies this and conveys to her Shan Cai’s feelings for Ah Si. However, Feng reminds Lei that when Ah Si was young, he always snatched Lei’s toys. And when Ah Si gets the toys, he would throw them aside. Lei jumps to his defense and insists that that was because Ah Si was young. Feng compares Shan Cai to the toy and tells Lei that Ah Si will get tired of Shan Cai and throw her aside as soon as he gets her. But Lei does not think that it will happen. Realizing that she must change her strategy, Feng changes the topic to Lei’s father. Apparently, Lei’s family business had run into some trouble. Lei expresses that he does not know much about it. She tells Lei that she is able to help his family as long as he is willing to start a relationship with Shan Cai.
