Shan Cai gets a “you’ll be dead” ‘red note’ from the F4 in her locker. She thinks that she has hurt Ah Si so deeply that he decides to give her a ‘red note’. She feels her heart ache as she recalls the scene where Ah Si professes his love for her. Everyone surrounding her laughs at her predicament as no one has ever gotten 2 red notes from the F4 and survived them. Immediately, some people start crowding towards her, ready to bully her. Shan Cai runs. Qing He runs into the mob and helps Shan Cai to hide. He asks her if Ah Si is angry with her because of the magazine. Shan Cai is shocked that even Qing He knows about the magazine photos. He reveals to her that Qian Hui and Bai He gave almost everyone in school a copy of the magazine. He also asks if she likes Xiao Shun but she declares that there is nothing except friendship between them. Their conversation is cut short when they hear the chattering of the people looking for Shan Cai. Qing He decides to lure them away so that Shan Cai can escape. 

Shan Cai runs to the lobby. 2 men surround her and another grabs her from behind and cups her mouth. She loses consciousness.  

Qing He is unable to find Shan Cai at the lobby.

The rest of the F4 try to find Ah Si at his house but he has not been home for a few days. Xi Men receive a call from Qing He who asks him about Shan Cai receiving a ‘red note’. However, Xi Men knows nothing about it and they concluded that it must have been Ah Si who gave it without discussing with them. They returned to school to look for Ah Si. 

A worried Qing He tries to look for Shan Cai at the cake shop. Xiao You tells him that Shan Cai did not report for work, and has not applied for leave. Qing He tells Xiao You about the ‘red note’ and says that he cannot find Shan Cai anywhere, not even at her house. Xiao You is extremely worried. Qing He assures her that he will find her and admits that he likes Shan Cai. However, he will only secretly admire Shan Cai as he does not want to force her to make a decision. Xiao You is touched.  

In the meantime, Shan Cai is tied up in an old warehouse. When she regains her consciousness, one of the kidnappers takes a picture of her and sends someone to deliver the picture to Ah Si. A man walks into the warehouse and Shan Cai is taken aback to see that it is Xiao Shun.

The rest of the F4 still cannot find Ah Si in school and cannot get through his hand phone. Mei Zuo is worried that Ah Si is out of control this time and is concerned about Shan Cai’s safety. Xi Men also receives news from Qing He that Shan Cai is nowhere to be found. Lei thinks that things are not as simple as they seem. He does not think that Ah Si has sent the ‘red note’ to Shan Cai and whoever did it must have terrible motives. 

They finally find Ah Si eating barbequed food alone. He tells them that for the past few days, he had been at the beach relaxing. They realize that the ‘red note’ is not from Ah Si.

In the warehouse, Shan Cai questions Xiao Shun’s motives for kidnapping her. He apologizes for using her friendship to attain his other goals. Apparently, he had planned for a man to give Shan Cai the name card, luring her to go for the photo shoot. Thus, he has a chance to save her then and get to know her. He even planned for them to be on the magazine with the lewd article and was the one who gave her the ‘red note’. He did all these in order to seek revenge on Ah Si. When Ah Si beat him up a few days ago, he had realized that Ah Si cares a lot for Shan Cai and hence decided that using her as bait is the best bet. He tells Shan Cai the reason for taking revenge… … 

Xiao Shun grew up in the orphanage because he was an illegitimate child and neither of his parents wanted to take care of him. He had wanted to commit suicide because he felt that his life had been a mistake from the beginning. Just as he was about to drown himself, a man saved him. Not only did the man save his life, he also talked Xiao Shun into leading a proper life. Xiao Shun is extremely grateful to him. However that friend offended Ah Si when he was in school and was beaten up very badly. From then, Xiao Shun swears that he will help his saviour take revenge. Ah Si has bullied all the other kidnappers once and thus they gather together to take revenge on their common enemy.  

Shan Cai realizes that he is using her to lure Ah Si to the warehouse and scolds Xiao Shun despicable. He ignores her and tells her that he will not let Ah Si go easily.

Ah Si receives the picture of Shan Cai being tied up. He receives a call from Xiao Shun. Xiao Shun forces Shan Cai to speak into the phone. Shan Cai tells Ah Si not to come for her. Xiao Shun warns Ah Si not to call the police or he will never see Shan Cai again. He also tells Ah Si to go to the warehouse alone. With that, he hangs up. Ah Si leaves immediately and refuses to tell the rest anything.

Shan Cai realizes that everything was a fraud. She hates herself for saying all the mean things to Ah Si. She thinks that Xiao Shun must be laughing at her for being so gullible. However, Xiao Shun only pities her for being so close to Ah Si. Shan Cai expresses her disgust with Xiao Shun.  

The other kidnappers come in and reveals to Shan Cai that they were beaten up by Ah Si in a pub before. Shan Cai tells them off for using such an underhanded method to get back at Ah Si. She mocks them for not being able to win Ah Si otherwise. She reveals that she is not Ah Si’s girlfriend and thus he will not come and save her. Thus, they can be prepared to stay there and wait for nothing. 

However, Ah Si appears. Xiao Shun’s way of settling everything is for Ah Si to stand and not move. He and his fellow kidnappers will do the rest of the work. He threatens to hurt Shan Cai if Ah Si retaliates. Shan Cai scolds Ah Si for coming to the warehouse. Ah Si, however, tells her to shut her eyes. All the men start hitting Ah Si with bats. He does not retaliate. Shan Cai is shocked that Ah Si, someone who has never been beaten up before, does not retaliate because of her.  

They beat up Ah Si until he is bleeding profusely. However, Ah Si stands up, and mocks them for not beating him up hard enough. Angered, they continue beating him up. And yet, Ah Si is still able to stand up although he is clearly heavily injured. Furious, Xiao Shun takes a chair and is about to smash it on him when Shan Cai rushes forward and take the hit for him. The chair is smashed into pieces on Shan Cai. Xiao Shun is shocked. The rest of the men almost beat up Shan Cai too but Xiao Shun stops them and makes everyone leave. 

In tears, Shan Cai asks Ah Si why he didn’t retaliate. However, Ah Si tells her that it would have been easy for him to beat all of them up but he just wants to protect her. If he retaliated, he would have lost and not be able to save her. He loses consciousness.
