The start of next month will see the launch of an exciting new monthly live music club which will take place at The Edge, 57 Cochrane Street (just off George Square)Glasgow and will be on the first Thursday of every month throughout the year.
The nights will feature an array of different acts from folk, country to melodic pop, you never know who you are likely to hear, it will also be a good chance to hear a lot of exciting up and coming acts.
Launch night will be on Thursday 5th February 2004 with an excellent bill which will feature The Fran Schoppler Band who will bring her own brand of musical, melodic melancholy. Also on the bill is top drawer local singer song writer Tom Clelland and local favourite Vagabonds front man Sandy Watson.
Doors open 8pm, tickets are priced £5 and are available from Tickets Scotland 239 ARGYLE ST. GLASGOW G2 8DL (Situated under the Central Station Bridge). Phone 0141 2045151.
Acts already confirmed to play at The Fallen Angels Club in the future are former Soup Dragon Jim McCulloch, Helen Reeves, The John Hinshelwood Band and John Miller (from The Radio Sweethearts), plus many more about to be confirmed.

Full set with Fran, Roy and Helen. The pub was busy, 1 person got a bit squiffy, the audience were steaming, 1 person heckled, 1 person got their ass kicked.... really good night.
