When researching genealogies, of necessity, the tendency is to concentrate on the males, being the ones to carry on the family name. Of course, it is understood that the females are equally important, perhaps even more so, being the ones to actually carry the children. However, unless they are truly special, they seem to get lost in the shuffle. This page is dedicated to shedding some light on the females in our families, no matter how great, or how small, they may seem to have been. I will be adding names to this list regularly.
