THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR IN THE CRUSADES

This book recounts the stirring saga of the Knights Templar, the Christian warrior-monks who occupied the sacred Mount in the aftermath of the butchery of the First Crusade.
In telling the incredible story of the Knights templar, the author's clear explanation of the cultural and religious differences among the Templar's enemies and friends in the Middle East gives fresh understanding of the people who populate this restless region.

Masonic Initiation

By W.L. Wilmshurst.
This book, like The Meaning of Masonry, displays the spiritual meaning of initiation in our lives and what the levels of initiation spiritually represent. This book indicates that the ceremonials that we go through in masonry are symbolic of the levels we must go through to arrive at spiritual attainment.

Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottich Rite of Freemasonry

By Albert Pike.
This controversial book chronicles the influences, history, and symbolism of all Thirty -Two degrees of American Scottish Rite Freemasonry. Including Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason as well as the famous Rose Croix degree. It connects Freemasonry to the ancient mystery traditions including Mithraism, the Cult of Isis and Osiris, Gnosticism, and the Jewish mysteries. While dedicated primarily to the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry the information contained within is priceless to all Freemasons no matter the degree.

Symbolism in Craft Freemasonry

By Colin Dyer.

Freemasonry, its lodges and ceremonies makes use of a great deal of symbolism, the origin of the great majority of which is open to speculation. Freemasons of earlier times have not left precise records giving the definite origins of most of the symbols they brought into use in the Craft. Many parallel instances of the use of symbols may be found by which it is possible that freemasonry could have been influenced, while masonic symbolism has been a favourite subject for writers in the past. In this book the author has examined a great deal of material in endeavouring to establish the reasons for the incorporation of particular symbolism into masonry. The late Colin Dyer was well known for his research into masonic history and is the author of several books on masonic subjects.

Symbols of Freemasonry

By Daniel Beresniak.

Freemasonry is one of mankind's oldest existing secular brotherhoods. Its past members include kings, presidents, military leaders, writers and philosophers, and today there are many thousands of freemasons in the world. The power of their network is often feared, and yet freemasonry is not a closed doctrine. Members of the same lodge do not share the same political or religious opinions. So what do freemasons share? This book gives the reader a clear response to these questions be means of an explanation of freemasonry through the moral, philosophical or religious symbols which lie at the heart of its teaching. Richly illustrated, 'Symbols of Freemasonry' is designed both for the initiated and newcomers interested in gaining a better understanding of this fascinating but often misrepresented society.
A high quality book which is ideal as a gift. Each page covers a different aspect of masonic symbolism with an accompanying illustration.
