            GIORDANO BRUNO

a Freethinker: a philosopher [by nature a searcher and seeker of true knowledge], an anti-clericalist [who saw the Church as the Triumphant Beast], a [reasoning] heretic [of the Christian faith], a poet and writer, and a man who was burnt at the stake.
