Mkll Drivetrain Side View.
Thanks to Syd from Australia, we have photos that show the difference in area needed in the Mkll floor pan for the factory Automatic transmission. (MKlll models also have a similar large transmission tunnel). For members installing V8s, the extra room can be handy more so for the large bump on the top of MKlV gear box's and some Japanese drivetrains. (MKlll tunnels have ample room for Top Loader and C-4 transmissions in manual gear box cars as is.)
