PUTTING PHOTOS IN MESSAGES OR MEMBERS ARTICLES.

Suggestion: You may want to print the following out and have it handy while posting photos.

You have two options.

*Option 1, Posting the photos into your message body.*

** Please remember though for option 1, the photos have to be loaded to this site (or another msn site you are with)  before you can post them as described below. **

Step 1: Load the photos to the site (in one of the albums here).

2, then to insert them in your post you click on the postcard looking icon at the top of the message you are writing (up where the font style etc panel is),

3, Wait for this new window to open up,

4, click on "Galeforce Zephyrs",

5, then choose the album that your photo is in and wait for it to load that album

6, then click on the photo you would like (it will add a red border around it) then click "add photo."

It should place a photo in your message like this:

*Option 2: Attaching a file/photo*

* Andrew's helpful tip* Make sure you run an "up to date" virus protection software when opening attachments.

Step 1, Underneath "Subject" of your new message (when you open up the window to type your new message, or reply in), there is a link with a paperclip beside it saying, "Attach a file," Click on it.

2, If there is a photo on your computer and you are not sure where it is (eg: On a floppy disk, or on your desktop, C Drive etc), click "Browse" to locate it.

3, When found, click on the photo you want

4, then click on open

5, then click on "Attach this file" (which is below the browse option window).

You will see that it briefly changes something, and when it is finished doing what it has to do, you will see beside "attach a file" the photo name or file name, that you have attached.

6, click on "send message" once you have finished writing what you want.

It should appear below the message body in a grey portion, directly under what you have wrote.

Members wanting to then view the photo, just click on that and it should bring up the picture that was attached.

Photos have to be jpg or similar format to be able to be posted.

If you have any further difficulties, don't hesitate to contact me.
