Hello, Y'all! Welcome to our little site.
If you are new you might spend a few minutes (hours? days?!!) looking over our picture albums to get a feel for what we've been creating. Bowling balls in the garden? Garden benches made from scrap? Yep, plus birdbaths from clay pots and satellite dishes, birdhouses from PVC pipe, lovely gazing balls made from bowling balls, old light fixtures, even softballs! Wonderful hypertufa creations! You will find amazing "recycled materials" art.
Look in our Documents section (delve deep; each folder is full of "how to's" and ideas.) You will get a sense of how and why we came to be. If there is one defining personality trait amongst us, it’s this: WE SHARE! We work out new and different ways to create something out of nothing and then...WE SHARE how we created it. Some other member will take our original idea and tweak it into yet another original. It's great fun!
Finally, check out our message boards. Nothing is "off topic". You have complete freedom to post anything that lies within the realm of good taste! We discuss anything and everything! However, we mostly talk about our art in some way or another. We also support each other in any way needed, including prayer.
One final word. We have a "no stinkin rules" policy. That means that we welcome all gentlepeople. This is not a place to argue or get into heated disputes. There are plenty of forums on the Internet for that. We don't bring it here.
You will come for our ideas and our incredible albums of garden art, made from junk and other materials. However, you'll stay because our members are loving, creative and supportive folks who borrow each other's ideas and build on them.
If you love art, gardens and you need a place to feel safe and secure in sharing your creations and in gleaning amazing ideas, well.... you've found the right spot! You will find a warm welcome here, where the only "rule" we have is to "be kind"!
