Impressor is now a Progeny Proven Sire in the top 25% of the breed for Calving Ease, Birth Weight, Milk, Total Maternal and Gestation. He ranks *7th as a Trait Leader within the Gelbvieh breed for Birth Weight with his EPD of -3.7.  In the 2004 Sire Summary he would be ranked 3rd for Calving Ease Direct with his EPD of 115 if his accuracy was a bit higher. His sire, TAU Polled Impression 4Y, has a Yearling Weight EPD of 89 and his dam Miss Wind 61Y was awarded Dam of Distinction in the 2000. Dam's of Distinction must have produced eight or more calves within a 365 day calving interval (between January 1 and March 1) and first calving must not exceed 25 months. The minimum weaning ratio must be 100 or better on all of the calves produced. Several Impressor daughters are in production at Bar GR and they are our top producing females!

Bar GR Mr. Wow 118L, a Desperado son out of Bar GR 303E, was the high selling Gelbvieh bull as a two-year old in the 2003 High Prairie Select Sale after breeding our purebred diluter herd in 2002!  Bar GR 303E's excellent 2002 JEB I'm a Sensation son sold in the same sale!

Bar GR Debra's bull calf at side in October 2000 posted a 205-day weight of 804 lbs.  This scurred bull calf  is now working in a local commercial herd owned by Aubrey Sandquist. Bar GR Debra's 2002 MLLC M/L Advantage daughter  is an exceptional young female who is now in our donor pen after raising the 2nd highest Birth to SOT indexing bull calf entered in Cattleland Feedyards Net Feed Efficiency test in September 2004 . Bar GR Debra's 2004 bull, Bar GR Payload 101P, sired by Zues Black Eagle was leading the NFE test after 28 days with a 4.16 lb. Average Daily Gain. An embryo package on Bar GR Debra 101D sold into Australia in our 'First Choice Internet Auction' held in January 2005!

Impressor's daughters exhibit his length and depth, have good feet and excellent udders. They consistently produce bred heifers like Bar GR Jamila 124J and heifer calves like Bar GR Fearless Flirt 124P who sold into Saskatchewan as a heifer calf show prospect. Flirt topped her class in the Legend of the Fall all-breed heifer jackpot at Farmfair International in Edmonton in November 2004 and then went on to win her class at the Saskatoon Fall Fair.
