SLC Farrah 39C with VAA Leachman New Day Heifer Calf

SLC Farrah 39C, the above single polled HHf Polled Summit 648U daughter, was purchased from Severtson Land & Cattle while she was on a successful show circuit. She was Reserve Calf Champion at Farmfair in 1993.  In 1994 and 1995 she was Reserve Grand Champion Female at Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. At the Red Deer Westerner in 1994 she was first in the Yearling Heifer class but went back with her VAA Leachman New Day heifer calf at side (above) in 1995 to take Grand Champion Female and Reserve Grand Beef Champion over all breeds.  In 1996 at the World Gelbvieh Conference Sale her daughter SLC Farrah 32E (the calf at side above) was the high selling lot at $5000.00. Ron & Gail were delighted to learn that SLC Farrah 32E is at Brittain Farms in Falun, Alberta. When they visited Brittain Farms in February 2002 they were also extremely impressed with her yearling son out of C342 (Stubby)!

Farrah's natural born son, Bar GR Farrah's Legacy 103H is out of the homozygous polled AI sire KCF Bennett C109 from Knoll Crest Farms in Virginia. Please click on  Embryo Females and Their Sons to learn more about Farrah's Legacy! His calves out of our first calf heifers have been born easily.
