Avoid posting spoilers, rumors, and cast comings and goings in your subject headings! If you want to discuss something that is going to happen on GH in the future, (including cast members coming and going), please do not write about it in the subject heading for your post; "hint" around it (however,it is not necessary to put a spoiler warning in the subject heading either). Instead, in the actual body of your post, it would be considerate to post a warning that a spoiler/rumor/cast change is going to be discussed, and white it out so it cannot be seen unless highlighted. Alternatively,leave some space between your warning and the rest of your message.
Some of our members prefer to be surprised about future GH storylines and events.
Don't post in ALL CAPS (capital letters). Posting in all caps makes your message harder to read (thereby causing some people to skip it entirely), and some people consider it akin to shouting. This goes for Subject lines, too. So unless you have good reason to shout, keep to the lower case.
Try to avoid using the board to post personal messages to one person in particular. Use e-mail, or reply under an existing post made by the person you wish to contact, whenever possible.
Do not start new threads without checking the board first to see if a thread on the same topic has already been started. If it has, put your post under that thread as a reply. This way relevant threads will stay on the first page longer, instead of being pushed off the page by repetitive posts.
Do not bump a thread just for the sake of bringing it to the top. Repetitive bumps may lead to the "BUMPER" being banned from posting in the thread they are bumping
Keep your language clean. Remember, people of all ages can access this community. Messages containing obscene, vulgar, offensive, or abusive language, or acronyms of such language will be removed without notice.
All posts violating the guidelines are subject to deletion at the manager's descretion.
NO FLAMING!
Differing opinions are welcome here. However, NO flaming of other posters will be tolerated. Repeat offenders will lose their membership to this site. We are all part of the GH "family" here and treat each other in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect!
Follow the Golden Rule. When posting, treat others as you'd like to be treated -- don't be insulting, don't question other's intelligence and sanity just because their view may differ from yours, and don't harass others. Watch your tone! Everyone who posts on this board is a real person, just like you.
Remember that actors, writers, and producers are all real people too. Constructive criticism is welcome. Taking pot-shots is not, nasty gossip is not.
We strongly discourage character bashing threads.
If you must rant and rage about a character you find despicable,
please do it in the RANT thread here.
If you have a complaint or concern about posts/deletions on the GHH Boards, other posters on the boards, or the GHH Board in general, do not post it on the boards, e-mail the manager. (address below) All such posts will be deleted.
If you have a dispute with another poster, take it elsewhere.
Do not discuss e-mail events on the board.
Remember the second most important rule: It's only a soap. Characters on a soap are not real people.
Don't let mass opinion sway you or dissuade you from posting your own opinions.
You can disagree without flaming. You can set forth a different point of view without attacking someone else personally.
If someone disagrees with you, that DOES NOT automatically mean that they are flaming you.
Don't immediately take offense when someone offers a different point of view. If you have the misfortune of being flamed, DON'T respond by flaming back.
Respect other Websites!
Do not copy and paste information directly from other websites or Internet,to our board.
All such posts will be deleted. Not only is this bandwidth theft, but a violation of copyright regulations.
The same rule applies to text from member posts on our site. Do not copy them to other sites,
without permission from the authors of such text. Violators will be banned.
We would appreciate a Link back here if you copy and paste our text onto other sites.

Advertising of any kind is not allowed on the message boards. This means no advertising for other sites on the internet or posting links to, or discussing other sites on our board without permission from the GHH manager.unless it is on our links page (If you know of a site that would be of interest to GH fans, e-mail me and I will consider adding the link to our Links Page) but do not advertise such sites on our board. Petitions!
Do not use the board to promote petitions that deal with storylines. GHH does not support such petitions. If you want to write or call GH on your own, see our Where To Write page. You may, however promote petitions that support the actors or writers (to save their job,get more airtime, etc).
