Usually when I do the yearly awards I put in hours upon hours of exhaustive research and formulate a comprehensive awards show punctuated by my astonishing wit. Well screw that.

That process took me waaay too long last time (It took me about ten months to finally finish the CBA Review and Awards for 2001). So this time I’m trying a new approach. This time, instead of the exhaustive research and formulaic comprehensions, I decided to just form these awards off the top of my head. Don’t worry, my astonishing wit is intact as ever. 

 Before you think Cool Black has gotten lazy, there is a method to my madness. I figure what better way to give awards than to give them to the most memorable?
