I am looking for PENKE especially from Hohenfier, Flatow area - 1870's - My great grandfather's brother is listed from that place and he came to America - to Ripon, Wisconsin in 1873 - his older brother Ferdinand had already arrived in US in 1870 but was in Philadelphia area un til about 1875 when he joined Fred - As stated they were from Hohenfier, Flarow - there were many Penke's from that area and north to Neustettin - I am looking for any who may have been related closely to mine in Hohenfier. Ferdinand was a foot soldier in the Franco-Prussian War and possibly left Germany to avoid further involvement in such wars. Any information would be appreciated - Oh - I also know of Penke's - who lived in Plietnitz which is very close to Hohenfier - and in Krojanke, Flatow

Harriet PETERS was born 12 November 1894-1898 on the island of St Kitts in the Caribbean. She relocated to Manhattan, NY in 1920 and left behind 2 children: Issac and Ismay. Her sister Rose who now resides in Antigua raised Harriet's children before they relocated to USVI(St Thomas/St Croix). She met and married Benjamin ANTONIO after shed arrived. She gave birth to Alfred(who changed his surname to Hendericks) Issac(a different one), David, Jacob, Beatrice Viola ANTONIO and William Williams from 1924 - 1934. She died 6 September 1965 in a Bronx, NY hospital.
