Spotlight site is an award which is quite different from normal ones. First of all, it is held monthly, not just as people apply. Secondly, I am not the judge, just a vote tallyer, and the members who vote are actually partly judging who wins.
www Every month, Spotlight Site is held. On the 1st of every month, the board is open to anyone who wishes to cast their submission. You can only submit ONE of your sites (must be G-Rated) only, but you might want to save your most confident one for the High Standards Awards. High Standards is just like Spotlight, except is it for more competitive, professional sites. www There is also an Beginners Spotlight Site, which is for sites that are less than two months old when they apply. Spotlight Site is for sites MORE than two months old. Both has the exact same rules, except for the sites' age difference.

The voting for Spotlight and Beginner's Spotlight are very easy. You can only vote once for each month's competition, meaning you can vote only once for the August Spotlight, once for August Beginner's Spotlight and once for High Standards. You can vote for your own if you wish to do that, but please at least look around at those other submissions. Please do not post your vote on the entries board, instead, send the to: genuineawards@yahoo.com www If you have already won before, say for the month of August, then you cannot apply for the month of September, the following month. However, you can submit once again for Novembers vote. www
There is no other rules about your site that is applicable to Spotlight Site Award. Your group can be inactive, active, interesting, uninteresting, with many pages, or with hardly any, it doesn't matter. It's just for fun anyway, not an award everyone knows of, so go on and try! www
