Judges said We want to see this Animal back again she is a Quality NAVHDA Dog.

See her next year doing a Angell (Prize I) but in UT

This was Gracie first Test ever in NAVHDA which is so different than AKC testing. They are testing in all areas of work. This is also my first time not quite sure what to train for and conditions were not in our favor with the heavy rain in the field also being the first dog out.

This Girl Impressed the Judges and they can't wait to see her come back in the Utility Testing Portion.

Utility Preparatory Test is just that it give you an Idea what you need to work on in your training.

She did a great job under the conditions that day. It was raining pretty heavy the birds were wet and couldn't fly if they wanted too. Gracie just went around picking up the wet birds and bringing them back to my hand. If we dry them off with a blow dryer we can use them again.

The shoot to retrieve I had to pick up the bird and throw it like a football for the gunners to shoot. She retrieved it to hand like the rest of the birds.

Duck Drag went well she followed the track like a pro direct to the duck came out of the woods with the biggest duck. She was So Happy tail at 12 oclock and prancing her stuff directly to me in hand.

Duck Search I knew was going to be tricky because she had never done one..She was steady at the shot I released her she searched close. With a few stones we managed to get her to cross the swamp through the lily pads to search but didnt go as far as they would have liked to see and not as long as they wanted. First try was great. I think if the duck was found her 2nd search would have been better.

Duck Retrieve Gracie was steady to the shot released for the retrieve of the dead duck. She swam straight to the duck picked it up and swam back place it in hand.
