CADY FALLS FIRST PUPPY TRAINING DAY

 

We got together and had a great time in the field with a few puppies from Cady Falls Chocolate Kissame JH X Fly N Hy Cady Falls Hi Hopes JH

Looks like these puppies are all naturals.  There Owners David and Matt are doing a great job with there new puppies.

Breya is now coming up on a bird look at that Point.  Her name is very becoming I think!

Breya even at this young age has trainability, spunk, bird scents, point with amazing style.  She is a bold puppy which is not afraid to get into the thick brush to get her birds.  She went out with birds and hunting on her mind.  But hunted for us not for herself she was so proud to bring out that bird to us in hand.

 

Look at this stanch point this is not just any bird dog.

A feather pile you can tell the difference just sniffing not stanch.

No doubt in my mind this dog can point and find birds. 

Wasn't quite sure on the first 2 but when the light turns on it really Glows Bright.

 

Another Talented Dog in the field.  You will be seeing more of this dog in the field.

Melodie came a little bit later with her 3 dogs.  We took Killarney out on birds with great intent was hunting from the release didnt take long before he was heading down to where the bird was and Bam he was LOCKED on POINT.  He was really steady to the bird until it was flushed then broke point this is great for our Killarney being he is 10 months old and all the training is being done by his owner Melodie and Glenn.

Melodie and Glenn are now New Owners of Brunswick (Otis) use to be owned by Brandon.  This is also a Lovely live male out of Cady Falls Chocolate Kissame and Achtungs Act Two.  This was the first time Melodie has taken Brunswick out on birds in the field and he did a nice job searched for the bird, found the bird, pointed then looked the bird in the eyes and picked him up bringing the bird to ME. 

Later we went from the field to the water. 

Didnt get pictures but the water work was very impressive Breya actually Pointed her first Duck she was ankle deep in mud, chest deep in water an pointing the bird in the water.  Then she decided it would be ok to swim over to the duck an smell it and taste it.  It wasnt alacot but it would do.  She gently pulled it in by the tail feathers.

Bounce also got into the act when it was his turn saw the duck and retrieved it from the water to my hand.   I put the duck out further and released him from whoa and with determination got the duck bring it to hand again.  Each time we did this he really was inspired by the duck in the water.  We have a great start. 

Gracie was her first duck work ever..  Gracie is so gentle with the duck A spectator watching her duck work said I wouldnt believe it unless you saw it.  Put Gracie on the shore in the grass didnt reinforce the whoa just wanted to see what she would do.  Through the duck it landed she broke I said Whoa she  stopped standing in water up to her belly starnch and still.  I released her told her fetch it up.  Off she went 25 feet out to the duck very careful took the wing bringing it to me.  We did this about 4 times she was Cady Falls Amazing Grace it sure did fit her today
