Local Paper Highlights Children's First Pheasant Hunt

This is the 5th year in a row that Cady Falls Kennel has used their well trained German Shorthaired Pointers for the children's hunt.  The children are always impressed by the performance of these beautiful dogs, working the open fields in hunting pairs. I asked Paul Costanza, owner of Cady Falls Ellington's Rock, which is Cady Falls Amazing Grace's litter brother, to accompany us.  Rocky has 3 wins towards his Master Hunter Title.  His litter sister, Gracie, will be competing for her title in the upcoming November and December's AKC Hunt Tests. 

Gracie has a litter of 10 puppies on the ground now and I must say that they are beautiful.  Gracie worked the field for these young hunters after only having her puppies 6 days earlier!
